Bolaji Olanrewaju popularly referred to as Big Bolaji is a certified Estate Surveyor, however, he is a full time Music Minister. He was converted and raised at the headquarters of The Sword Of The Spirit Ministries under the strict tutelage of Bishop Francis Wale Oke.

Bolaji Adedotun Olanrenwaju whose eulogy (Oriki ) is Alani omo Erin tin jogun Ola grew up in Ibadan Oyo State, but he is from the loins of Osun State, Gbongan, He attended nursery and primary school in Ibadan , at Subuola Nursery and Primary School. He attended, Loyola College for one term and continued to complete his secondary school education in London at Archbishop Tensions High School Oval, London and rounded up his higher education in Nigeria and graduated as an Estate Surveyor from the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin. He also has other Professional exam qualifications. He isn’t done yet, according to him he still has a PhD in view.

According to Bolaji “Music has always been a part of me right from my primary school days. I guess this is because my late mother Rev. Mrs Sola Olarewaju had the Arts flowing through her vein (Music, Drama, Poems and more)”.

He has been married for over 8 years and his union is blessed with happiness and kids.

He is also an ordained minister in Redeem Christian Church of God and has been in the ministry for over 19 years.

Musical Career

Big Bolaji does Gospel music and he ministers through gospel music on all the platforms made available to him be it a party, church, crusade, Disco hall , anywhere he is allowed to step into will get a feel of the brand, which is gospel music .

According to Big Bolaji he didn’t really have a big break as such, just consistent benefits that got bigger, and his contacts with Bishop Francis Wale Oke, the presiding bishop of The Sword of the Spirit Ministries changed my life. His years with Rev. Sam Rotimi Ore fanned the flame to fire and his contact with The Redeemed Christian Church Of God, under the grace of Pastor E A Adeboye turned his ministry around.

Big Bolaji on many occasions has been applauded for his unique voice which has a rich Yoruba intonation that always moves any crowd under it.

He is widely regarded as ”Baba Awon Boyz” (King of The Boyz) but in reality he is not just the King of the male folk, but a confirmed ‘‘Area Fada” which includes females as well. An appellation which stems from his Youthful disposition/relations and his support posture to create platforms for many young people who have crossed his path, many who and now dominant faces in their respective endeavors. The veteran praise leader who differentiates his musicianship with comic twists, trending lingo infusion over grovvy instrumentation is a Jack of Many Trades and Master of them All. As a Concert Producer – “Turn It Up” is a dominant name which converges the city of Ibadan as a result of his Sunday Morning Radio Show known by the same name.

Big Bolaji released a single titled “Real to me” . He has no album he focuses solely on performing already written praises and worship songs during events and adds his own little spice to it.
