Emmanuel Benjamin who is popularly known as Eben is a Nigerian singer, song writer and worship leader born on September 9 in Lagos state part of Nigeria.

Eben was born on the 9th of September to a family of six he was the 5th child. His family was quite religious and Eben grew up in a christian home.
He kicked started his career as a rapper, at that point his brother was his mentor. Over time he realized he could sing better and started full gospel in 1997. His Voice is one of the most popular ones in the Nigerian gospel industry.
Eben once was a studio background artist and recorded series of albums as the duo E-double. He is a protégé of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome like his colleagues Frank Edwards and Sinach. He used to be a winner’s chapel member from the start of his music career which was in 1997 till 2006 when he moved to Christ embassy fully.
He owns the record label Hammer Head of Rock. Eben is happily married to Jahdiel a gospel singer also. They’ve been married for 5 years and their union is blessed with a son.
Musical Career
After working as a studio Background vocal artist for some years, he finally met his light at the end of the tunnel. His career ignited in the year 2007 when he released his first solo album ‘ON THE ROCK’ which was supported by tracks like ‘God Dey’ ‘Imaranma’ and many others. Eben introduced the afrocentric rock genre to the Nigerian gospel music market and this helped him in succeeding in his career. He has graced platforms internationally and locally. A recipient of so many awards and also, he has a lot of nominations including ‘Best Male Artist’ Africa gospel music awards UK etc.
In year 2010 he released his sophomore album and he titled it ‘PHENOMENOM’. The album track-list was superb, with tracks like “Superman” making waves in the industry. He also has two more studio albums under his belt.
Eben became very popular and went viral after releasing ‘Victory’ from there so much emphasis has been placed on his name making him more prominent than a lot of other Nigerian gospel artists.
Eben is the CEO of Hammer House of Rock with a business ARM CALLED Hammer House Ventures which specializes in video and music production, event management and interior Decoration.
Eben has received several awards which include:

- Best Gospel video awards at the Nigerian Music awards.
- Album of the year award at the Crystal awards.
- Best song writer of the year at the Lima awards.
